When it comes to the Beatles vs. the Stones, who is the Better band? This debate has gone on since both bands shared the pop charts 50 years ago! The biggest differences fans point out were that the Beatles were a pop band and the Stones were a genuine rock and roll band. Though both groups were British and reached their heyday in the 60’s and 70’s, they were very different. Some say it was a battle between “the boys next door” versus the “bad boys of rock”.
Nobody can deny the shear talent and genius of both bands. It is a safe bet that you can sing the chorus of more than half of their hit songs. The good news is that you don’t have to choose! You can enjoy the incredible music of both bands at the Plymouth Playhouse on Sunday, September 19, 2021.
The two greatest rock ‘n’ roll bands of all time face off in a once-in-a-lifetime show. Taking the side of the Fab Four is Abbey Road, one of the country’s top Beatles tribute bands. With brilliant musicianship and authentic costumes and gear, Abbey Road plays beloved songs spanning the Beatles’ career. They engage in a musical “showdown” of the hits against premier Stones tribute band Satisfaction – The International Rolling Stones Show, who offer a faithful rendition of the music and style of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and the bad boys of the British Invasion.
The nationally touring show recently concluded a three month residency at the Harrah’s Reno showroom and a two month residency at the Harrah’s Laughlin showroom.
